At The Book Nook, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy on all book purchases. You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  1. In the same condition that you received it
  2. In original packaging (when applicable)
  3. Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

Please note: Books must be unopened and in resalable condition. We cannot accept returns on books that show signs of reading, wear, highlighting, or damage.

Please provide your order number and reason for return. We will respond within 1-2 business days with return instructions.

Return Shipping

  1. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was damaged, defective, or incorrect
  2. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns over $50
  3. The Book Nook is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipment

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  1. Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days
  2. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued
  3. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund

Partial refunds may be granted for:

  1. Books with obvious signs of use
  2. Items not in original condition or missing parts not due to our error
  3. Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, please return the original purchase and place a new order on our website or contact us for assistance.

Damaged or Defective Items

  2. Photos of the damaged item
  3. Description of the issue

We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you, including return shipping.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  1. Gift cards
  2. Downloadable products or digital content
  3. Special order or custom items (unless damaged or defective)

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company (it may take time before refunds are officially posted)
  3. Contact your bank (processing time may vary)
